GigaOM has some slightly vague, but still convincing news confirming the recent rumor of Twitter’s new VC funding round. Details aren’t all fleshed out yet, but it seems that the existing investor, Union Square Ventures, has joined forces with a new investor, and that Twitter has raised U.S $15 million in funding at an U.S $80 million valuation.
