It has been a big year for RIM. Their profits are up, their devices have been getting great reviews and their subscriber base is growing by the day. Unquestionably, the big hit for RIM this year was the BlackBerry Pearl - the 8100. They quickly followed it up with the 8800 - bringing a much needed redesign to their corporate clients.
