Sony said Tuesday that it had cut the price of its PlayStation Portable gaming device to U.S $169, aiming to attract more consumers to its platform, after having sold some 25 million units by the end of 2006. The price cut would bring it closer in price to Nintendo's wildly popular DS, although it still would be U.S $40 more expensive.
